WILKES-BARRE, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College improved to 3-1 on the season with a 130-54 victory at King's College in Middle Atlantic Conference women's swimming action on Wednesday night. The Blue Jays won all 11 races against the Lady Monarchs to earn their second straight victory.
Picking up two wins each were
Sara Crimmel in the 1000 freestyle (11:56.01) and 500 freestyle (5:47.03),
Stephanie Hellman in the 200 freestyle (2:12.54) and 100 freestyle (1:00.09) and
Lindsay Riley in the 50 freestyle (26.41 seconds) and 200 backstroke (2:25.71).
Also earning wins were
Courtney Kelly in the 400 individual medley (5:17.82),
Amanda Martin in the 200 butterfly (2:39.11), and
Danielle Hopkins in the 200 breaststroke (2:47.90).
The Blue Jays also won the 200 medley relay behind the group of Riley, Hopkins, Kelly and Hellman (2:05.61) along with the 200 freestyle relay team of Kelly, Crimmel, Molly Goldrick and
Jennifer Malik (1:52.73).
