ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College improved to 5-1 on the season with a 112.5-92.5 win over Lebanon Valley College in a Middle Atlantic Conference women's swimming meet on Tuesday night.
The Blue Jays (5-1 overall, 5-1 MAC) won seven of the 11 events against the Dutchmen (3-3 overall, 3-2 MAC) to claim their third consecutive victory.
Picking up a pair of wins for Elizabethtown were
Sara Crimmel in the 1000 freestyle (11:55.94) and 500 freestyle (5:51.92),
Lindsay Riley in the 50 freestyle (26.76 seconds) and 100 freestyle (58.25 seconds) and
Courtney Kelly in the 200 individual medley (2:27.37) and 100 backstroke (1:09.41).
The Blue Jays' 200 medley relay team of Riley,
Danielle Hopkins, Kelly and
Jennifer Malik also posted a win as they touched the wall in 2:04.10 in the meet's opening event.
Second-place finishes came from
Stephanie Hellman in the 200 freestyle (2:10.15),
Amanda Martin in the 100 butterfly (1:10.58) and Hopkins in the 100 breaststroke (1:16.88).
