ANNVILLE, Pa. --- Dan Dunkelberger finished with game highs of 21 points and 10 rebounds to help Lebanon Valley College rally from a nine-point deficit in the second half to defeat Elizabethtown College 79-74 in a Commonwealth Conference men's basketball matchup Tuesday at LVC Gymnasium.

Zach Kebetz and Jordan Stewart each scored 15 points off the bench for the Flying Dutchmen (10-13 overall, 6-6 Commonwealth), who moved into a tie with the Blue Jays (14-8 overall, 6-6 Commonwealth) for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Commonwealth Conference with two games remaining.

Mike Church led Elizabethtown with 16 points, eight rebounds and and three blocked shots, but the Blue Jays hit just 8-of-29 shots in the second half and saw the Dutchmen use a 10-0 run early in the second half to turn a 50-41 deficit into a 51-50 lead.

Lebanon Valley extended the run to 15-2 as Stewart came up with a steal and layup to give the Dutchmen a 56-52 lead with 12:26 left. Twice the Blue Jays moved within a point, the last time at 62-61 following a jumper by Bryan Harrity with 6:47 remaining, but key baskets by Sean MacIntosh and Grant Becker helped keep the Dutchmen lead at two possessions down the stretch.

Thanks to a 30-footer that beat the first-half buzzer by Keith Fogel, the Blue Jays took a 44-40 into intermission as both teams thrived from the field in the opening half. Elizabethtown connected on 59.4 percent (19-for-32) while Lebanon Valley hit 57.1 percent (16-for-28) from the field.

Both teams went 6-for-9 from three-point range in the opening half, including a 4-for-5 effort from the Dutchmen's Kebetz en route to a game-high 12 points. Church led the Blue Jays with 10 points while Joe Flanagan added seven points and four rebounds.

MacIntosh and Joe Meehan each finished with eight points for Lebanon Valley, while Meehan dished out a game-high seven assists. Four players scored in double figures for Elizabethtown, as Fogel netted 12 points and Flanagan and Harrity each tallied 10 points. Flanagan also grabbed seven rebounds in the game for the Blue Jays while Harrity went 5-for-7 from the field and pulled five boards in just nine minutes of playing time.
