CHESTER, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College participated in the two-day Widener University Invitational, held Friday and Saturday at Leslie C. Quick, Jr. Stadium, site of next month's Middle Atlantic Conference Championships.
The Blue Jays had three finishers in the top 10 in the 5,000 meter run, as
Colby Miller placed third and climbed into seventh place on the program's all-time list with a time of 15:07.58.
Evan DeArmitt was timed in 15:17.03 and finished sixth while
Aaron Focht was eighth in 15:19.52.
Wyatt Eaton finished seventh in the 100 meters (11.37 seconds) and 200 meters (22.69 seconds) while
Elton Dos Santos was fifth in the 110 hurdles (16.52 seconds) and ninth in the 400 hurdles (1:01.21).
Luke Rotenberger added a sixth-place finish in the 400 meters with a time of 51.22 seconds.
In field events,
Dan Obold was eighth in the discus with a mark of 37.65 meters (123 feet, 6 inches), moving him into second place on the school's all-time list.
Austin Hayes took 10th in the long jump at 5.86 meters (19 feet, 2 3/4 inches) and
Tim Katzaman was 11th in the hammer throw at 37.55 meters (123 feet, 2 inches).
