ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Suzi Lindquist scored on a penalty stroke with 4:23 left in the first overtime period to give Juniata College a 3-2 victory over Elizabethtown College in non-conference field hockey action Wednesday afternoon at Wolf Field.
The goal spoiled a stunning comeback by the Blue Jays (1-2 overall), who trailed 2-0 with eight minutes remaining but scored twice in a span of 33 seconds to tie the game and force the extra period.
Just 1:01 after Jill McNeish gave the Eagles (2-2 overall) a 2-0 lead with 8:15 left,

Julie Foster cashed in to even the score at 2-2 with 6:41 remaining.
Juniata nearly won the game with 2:05 left in regulation, but Foster recorded a defensive save on a shot by the Eagles' Shauna Deschenes to preserve the deadlock. Each team had one shot in the first 10 minutes of overtime before the Eagles picked up the game-winner.
Neither team recorded a shot for nearly 20 minutes to open the game, but the Eagles drew first blood at 26:30 when Paula Price scored from a sharp angle to the right of the cage to give Juniata a 1-0 lead which they carried into intermission.
Juniata finished the match with an 11-9 advantage in shots and a 9-3 edge in penalty corners over Elizabethtown.
Lindy Hamp made five saves in goal for the Blue Jays, while Moira Nugent tallied three stops for the Eagles.
