2011-12 (Sophomore): After spending 2010-11 as a reserve player, Turula gave head coach Matt Helsel plenty of production at the back end of E-town's lineup in 2011-12...Played in over 40 matches between singles (22) and doubles (19)...Tied for fifth on the team with 14 singles victories (14-8)...One of six Blue Jays to win 10 or more singles matches...Six of 14 singles wins came in tournaments...Made it to the final at No. 6 singles in the MAC Individual Championships...3-0 in Blue 7 Singles round-robin play at the USTA ITA Southeast Regional Championships...Recorded an even 7-7 record at No. 6 singles during the spring season...Started the season with six straight singles triumphs...Was also a near .500 player in doubles, going 9-10 overall and 8-8 at No. 3...Tandem of Turula and

2010-11 (Freshman): Took little time to get his first career win, grabbing a 6-2, 6-4 decision over Chris Migliarese (Roanoke) at the USTA ITA Southeast Regional Championships in his first career singles match...Followed up his showing at ITA's with a run to the finals at No. 6 singles and No. 4 doubles at the MAC Individual Championships...Second place finisher in both flights at MAC Individual Championships (paired with
Billy Freitag in doubles)...Got into five matches at No. 6 singles for the Blue Jays during their spring season...Had a 2-3 record with wins over opponents from Defiance (Ohio) and King's (Pa.)...Won No. 3 doubles matches with
Michael Anderson (3/8 vs. Juniata) and
Joe Kirchner (4/17 vs. Alvernia).
